The Verge has posted up some details on the new Microsoft Surface tablet revealed today. It's an impressive product with some unique touches all its own. It will ship in two versions (Intel & ARM CPUs) each running Windows 8. The tablet features pen input (complete with a pen that attached magnetically to the tablet) in addition to the now standard multitouch. Its familiar magnetic cover is redeemed through the addition of a built-in keyboard. Kudos Microsoft. It is unfortunate that the ARM version will probably lack many apps... Gotta start somewhere though!

Last night, Nintendo held an investor meeting in Japan revealing their performance over the last quarter. At this meeting it was also revealed that the Wii U controller would have NFC (Near-Field Communication) functionality built in. What exactly does this mean? More
